Some geniuses at Nike have realised that sometimes nothing beats the classics.
The hugely popular Total 90 range is set for a comeback – with new model of the T90 Lasers thought to be on sale soon.
This is sure to remind football supporters of that joyous era of the sport, right when £30 million was still a hefty price and Thierry Henry and Didier Drogba were lighting up the Premier League.
But it was the 2004 Euros in Portugal when the Total 90 craze truly took off. At the time, countries with a Nike kit had almost precisely the same style, the circle around the squad number on the front.
The repetition is the sort of thing sportswear companies get hounded for today, but such was T90s massive popularity, no one minded.
This was the Total 90 range, after all. A style that gave us they best looking Premier League ball of the era, no question.

And now it’s back. Nike reportedly releasing the Total 90 Laser boots this summer to commemorate the range’s legacy.
This is according to Bryan Byrne, aka SoccerCleats101, an online user who is known to be extremely accurate and ITK when it comes to Nike releases.
It’s similar to what Adidas did. They brought back the famous Predators for this summer’s World Cup, boots made famous by David Beckham during his heyday.
Fancy a grabbing a pair of these, or would you rather see these Air Zooms make a return?
