Real Madrid Wonderkid Takefusa Kubo Makes His Teammates Look Like Amateurs In Stunning Training Highlights

Real Madrid phenom Takefusa Kubo is only 18-years-old but he’s already making his teammates look like amateurs in training as a stunning compilation has surfaced online.

The Spanish giants secured Kubo’s services on a five-year deal for a reported £1.78 million and he’ll slot straight in the Castilla rank for next season.

But the player, dubbed the ‘Japanese Messi, could find himself featuring in Zinedine Zidane’s first-team squad much sooner than expected after he’s impressed the club’s coaching staff.

And judging by his individual highlights in training, the Japan international wouldn’t look out of place in the first-team.

Kubo, who enjoyed four years at La Masia, left Barcelona after FIFA punished them for the signing of underage players.

After leaving in 2015, he developed and honed his skills in Japan before returning to Spain by signing a contract with Real Madrid, and former Barcelona youth coach Joan Vilà believes the club have made a big mistake.

“Letting Kubo go and join Real Madrid was Barça’s biggest mistake in quite some time,” said Vilà, who discovered Puyol and Xavi.

“He was destined to be a first-team player. He had unbelievable potential because he had an impressive talent alongside a great work ethic and discipline,” said another coach.

Kubo has travelled with the Madrid squad to Canada for their pre-season training camp and he’s enjoying playing alongside summer signing Eden Hazard.

“I watch your videos before my match,” he said to the Belgium maestro.

How will Kubo fare at Real Madrid next season? Let us know what you think.
