However, the Brazilian international called time on his Camp Nou career by completing a world record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
But with the 2017/18 season drawing to a close, and the summer transfer market set to reopen, Neymar continues to dominate the transfer rumour mills.

Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez is hellbent on recruiting new talent including a ‘Galactico’.
The likes of Harry Kane, Eden Hazard, among many others, have been muted with Perez also eyeing up Neymar.
Meanwhile, after collecting the award for the best player in France (despite only playing 20 league games), Neymar spoke to the press, and naturally talks about his future was immediately raised.
“All transfer windows, we talk about these things,” he told L’Equipe.
“I’m not in a moment to talk about anything. Everyone knows what I came here to do, the goals I have.
“Now, my goals is to do the World Cup, not to talk about transfer or not, I spend my whole life, every transfer window, we talk about it, it’s a bit annoying.”
