Celtic supporters have flooded the Twitter page of Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato after he posted a cryptic four-leaf clover to his thousands of followers.
The former AC Milan, Chelsea and Villarreal forward is currently earning a small fortune playing in Chinese football for Tianjin Quanjian.
But Hoops supporters seem to think he could be the headline singing for Brendan Rodgers this summer.
On Monday, the 28-year-old sent a tweet to his followers, probably innocently, featuring a clover emoji, which doesn’t have much relevance to anybody – except Irish people and, of course, Celtic supporters.
We accept a lot of these replies are almost certainly tongue-in-cheek, but there might be one of two supporters who are genuinely hoping Pato could be swapping Shanghai for Parkhead:
Is there any chance at all that we could see Pato and his jet-heeled runs jinking past defences in the Scottish Premiership from next season?
Surely not? What do you think?
